The Morris Youth Foundation empowers individuals with disabilities through leadership development, self-advocacy training, and policy reform—ensuring equitable access, dignity, and opportunity across communities and systems.
Our mission is to transform the lives of people with disabilities by equipping them to become effective self-advocates, trusted policy advisors, and respected community leaders. We engage youth and adults with disabilities in structured training programs, collaborate with service providers on inclusive practices, and work alongside governmental entities to ensure that the voices of disabled individuals are reflected in the laws and systems that govern their lives.
The Morris Youth Foundation envisions a society where people with disabilities are not only included, but lead in shaping policies, services, and communities that uphold equity, dignity, and opportunity for all.
We envision a world where youth and adults with disabilities are recognized as leaders, innovators, and decision-makers in every sector of society. In this future, public policy, social services, and community institutions are built through their voices, guided by their experiences, and held accountable to their vision of justice and inclusion. Our work is driven by the belief that true equity requires centering those most often marginalized.
